Privacy Policy
This policy describes the current Steady21 app. It is a personal journal for behavior experiments. It has no account system or app-operated cloud sync. The content you enter stays in the app's local storage unless you choose to share a badge through your device's share sheet.
Information you enter
You can enter an experiment name, cue, standard and minimum actions, practice-day goal, daily result, obstacles, restart choices, milestone decisions, and free-text notes. The app also saves your language choice and onboarding state. These records are stored in a JSON file in the app's sandbox. Avoid adding sensitive personal information that you do not need for your own journal.
Collection and services
The reviewed app source has no app-operated server for your journal, and its current dependency list has no advertising or analytics SDK. The app does not send journal records to a developer server. The in-app privacy page opens this hosted policy when available and shows a local summary if it cannot load. This website saves your language selection in browser local storage until you clear that storage. Opening the hosted page sends a request to wowsteady.com; the hosting provider may process technical request data and logs. Hosting and log-retention details remain under review.
Device permissions
The current app does not request camera, photo library, microphone, contacts, location, health, or notification permission for its journal features. Badge sharing uses the system share sheet when you choose it. Operating-system services involved in sharing and backup are controlled by your device settings and the recipient you select.
Storage, retention, and deletion
Your journal remains in local app storage until you delete an experiment, choose “Delete all local data” in Settings, or remove the app. Deleting all local data removes experiments and entries but keeps your language choice. The app cannot restore deleted records. System backups may include app data depending on your platform and device settings. Steady21 has no independent journal backup, cloud sync, or device-transfer feature.
Exports and sharing
The app has no journal export feature. If you choose “Share badge,” Steady21 creates an image of the earned badge and passes it to the system share sheet. A service or person you select may receive that image and handle it under their own terms. Your experiment notes and full journal are not included in the badge image.
Children
Steady21 is a general personal journal and is not designed specifically for children. It does not ask for a child's identity or provide a child account. A child using the app could enter free-text content locally; a parent or guardian should review device sharing and backup settings.
Changes and contact
This policy may be updated when the app's behavior or services change. The page shows its effective date. The operator is an independent developer (独立开发者). For privacy or support questions, email postmaster@hndige.com.
